The artist

STREETS TO
THE KINGDOM

XLVI K is a Kenyan gospel drill artist signed to Christian Geng Records. His debut single, "Afande Ati?", arrived in 2022 and addressed police brutality in Nairobi's informal settlements, including Kawangware, his home.

His catalogue includes four EPs, Peace Mtaani, DRIP, Son Rise and Kind Of Love, plus the debut album Racing Thoughts. The work uses drill as the format for a gospel message.

Drill speaks to the streets I know.

In 2023 he was elected Chairman of the Kenya Holy Hiphop Association. In 2024 he released his book DRIP, which covers soul winning and discipleship. He is currently working on his second album.

The mask keeps attention on the message rather than the face. Its black and white sides represent speaking to both the saved and the lost.
